Angela & Den-Joe planned their dream destination wedding on Valentia Island, one of the most westerly points off the Iveragh Peninsula in the south-west of County Kerry. Access to the Island can be by the mainland bridge via Portmagee Channel or by ferry from Renard Point, Cahersiveen, which takes a short 5 minute journey but you get the buzz of a destination wedding for sure.
Similar to a bond movie, the main characters of this event, Angela, Den-Joe and AJ arrived by speedboat while their guests were sweetened up with ice-cream on their own ferry crossing.
There are no words to describe the feeling of how quickly the pace slows down on Valentia, the sense of escapeism is all around and Palm trees are only a taste of the tropical plants that await you.
Here are a few lovely words from the beautiful bride…
What can we say? Words cannot describe how much we appreciate everyone’s hard work and everything you all did – down to the tiny details.
You understood the Island experience we were after and went the extra mile….
It was the best day of our lives – everything was perfect and it was entirely down to all our Vendors and Suppliers and Most Importantly our Dear Friend Anne Murphy. We have had so many ‘thank you’ cards and comments about how ‘magical’ it was words cannot describe how much we appreciate everyone’s hard work and everything you all did – down to the tiny details….
Thank you so much for making our wedding day the most fantastic day of our lives….
