Grooms, When To Look Or Not To Look?

Before the ceremony on your wedding day, there are many special moments. Revealing the dress to loved ones, photographs with the parents and bridesmaids, arriving at the church and of course, walking up the aisle.

What we tend to forget is the groom and the morning of his wedding. Photos of the groom with his friends and family are so special. Especially when they are getting ready at home, an emotional day is guaranteed. These familiar scenes captured make for great memories.

Some of our favourite shots are of the patient (and very nervous) grooms awaiting their brides. We’ve captured plenty of expressions during our time of pure love, joy and happiness. From reassuring best men to proud parents the moments before the bride arrives are highly charged. Some are stoic, reserved and calm. Other times the nerves are obvious and the emotion kicks in. It is a big moment guys- its ok to show it!

We will always love seeing the look of anticipation and excitement when the music begins signalling his brides walk has begun.

“Do I look or don’t I?”

What an amazing moment!
