Autumn 2015 Make Up Trends are everywhere at the moment. And who doesn’t get excited to know the Fall is coming? We get to wrap up warm in our favourite boots, scarves and new coat and can cover up and maybe hide any body issues we may have but when it comes to our skin it is always on display so we have to ensure it is looking radiant and healthy. Walks in the park surrounded by falling golden leaves or collecting shells on a quiet beach can lead to exposure to colder more harsh conditions so it is vital to protect you skin from the elements.
There is so much on offer if you are visiting the West Coast of Ireland in Autumn 2015 and if you need anywhere to stay check out our amazing elite venue partners.

But while you are busy planning your autumn wardrobe, your autumn make up will also need updating to keep in touch with the latest looks.

Apparently contouring is being replaced by flushed skin, eye-liner is back and bare skin is a must but if like most women you look into the mirror and not sure how to approach the blank canvas looking back at you!

We reverted to Annette O’Brien our partner make up artist for some expert advise of how she would create some of her favourite Autumn 2015 looks.

“I have picked a few photo’s of makeup for A/W 15 for the blog.
I love fresh, faced skin on Bride’s during the Summer months but there is something so classic & sophisticated about Autumn makeup.

My go-to lip colour for Autumn/Winter from Mac are Dubbonet, Russian Red, Prince Noir & Desire.”

I tend to keep the brows chunky yet still defined.
Eyes look much softer using a lot of browns, greys and plum tones.
Highlighting, strobing and bronzers are not used as often in Autumn as on Summer makeup.”

Hope you have fun trying new colours this Autumn!
