A Canadian Bride an Irish Wedding is our featured wedding this week. If you are being hit with gale force winds like we are currently experiencing on the West of Ireland then snuggle up with a hot drink and let us take you to the rugged beauty of Ireland’s Wild Atlantic Way.
Where Shawna met the love of her life Teo, while she was travelling around Ireland and started working in a little village just outside Dingle. The rest is history as they say and shortly after he waved goodbye to all and followed his bride-to-be to Canada, where they now reside. The dream to return for an Irish wedding was answered when they returned for a Spring wedding so this Canadian beauty could walk down the aisle in the village where she found love.
Nestled in the mountains is Annascaul Lake, famous for it’s history and mythology and the love story of two giants who fought to the death for the love of a local lady called Scaul. One of the giant’s was supposedly the Celtic Warrior Cú Chulainn (Hound Of Culann). So it was the obvious place for this local giant and his bride to have their photo-shoot with The Woodards.
You cannot leave this village without a quick visit to the South Pole Inn once home to the famous Antarctic explorer Tom Crean.
Experiencing all there is on the West Coast, they travelled for a few days with family further along the coastline before departing for honeymoon. We hope you enjoyed this magical Irish wedding and you are inspired to contact us to create your own wedding journey to an a wedding in Ireland.
