Here on West Coast Weddings Ireland we just love to hear all about the different weddings happening along our coastline following the route of the Wild Atlantic Way. On today’s Real Wedding Jami & Brendan travelled from the USA to the Shannon region to seal their love with the assistance of our own Michelle McDermott.

How many of you can resist a man in uniform? Well today’s beautiful Jami didn’t have to, she married him instead at the West Coast destination of Adare Manor. Following Marine tradition we are delighted to see that Brendan wore formal uniform for the wedding service.

Bridal preparations took place in room 301 at the Manor where Rachel Guiry and Nuala Hanley were the team on hair and make-up.

Their wedding vows took place at Adare Manor with celebrant Dara Molloy assisting as they tied the knot in the presence of their loves ones. A small and intimate ceremony all in-house surrounded by luxury settings made this event even more special. Followed by a photo-shoot by The Woodards on the grounds steeped in history gave them the opportunity to spend some time alone.

“The day was great, everything went off so smoothly. Everyone was very professional and did an amazing job making my entire party look beautiful. Michelle did an amazing job coordinating the day, it was seamless and stress-free. It was so much more than I could have imagined from wonderful hair and makeup artists, to beautiful flowers and decor. Evelyn and Keith were also phenomenal to work with. They made us more than comfortable the entire day. Photography was the most important part of the day for me, since it is what we have to look back on and cherish the memories of our wedding. Fortunately we have amazing photos that I will cherish forever!

Dress/shoes/jewelry for me was important to have a classic look that would stand the test of time, but still had a unique flare that I felt spoke to who I am now. I wasn’t looking for something that was overly trendy because I wanted pictures that I could look at 15-20 years from now and hopefully not say “what was I thinking!”

Wishing them both endless love from WCWI xxx
