Patricia & Stephen’s have their dream Irish Wedding overlooking the majestic West Coast. Their love of travel and discovering new things together led them to Ireland where they would later return to marry. Their romance shines through in their wedding photo-shoot which took place along the Cliffs of Moher, recognised all over the world for its spectacular scenery, the popular Cliffs of Moher was recently recognised as the world’s best cliff view by the prestigious Condé Nast Traveller Magazine.
Sharing some special moments as they prepare the tie the knot. Stephen attended the dress fittings and we are very impressed at how much attention he paid! The tiffany colours were carried across from Patricia’s shoes to Stephen’s bow-tie, which show how w subtle but very effective this can be. And you all know how we love the bow-tie from our piece we wrote on our Fashion Friday blog.
Starting their dream Irish wedding off with their blessing at O’Brien’s Tower at the Cliffs with our partner celebrant Dara Malloy. Standing united in the strong force of wind that surrounded the magical cliffs, only later to be treated to Mother Nature’s wamer embrace which allowed them to discover more of the Wild Atlantic Way at Doonogore Castle and tradional Irish fishing village of Doolin.
At West Coast Weddings Ireland, we are in a unique position to offer many venues for the perfect indoor or outdoor ceremony on the Irish West Coast.
Here is what Particia had to say about why they choose an Irish West Coast wedding ” We chose to go to the West Coast of Ireland because there is absolutely nothing else like it in the world. We travel a fair bit, and the first time we went to Ireland together (we weren’t even engaged yet, just a couples trip), we were just floored by the cliffs. It was so gorgeous, majectic and unlike anything we had seen before. Same goes for the rest of the landscape of the west coast– absolutely beautiful to us. Stephen’s father is Irish himself (although his father has never seen Ireland– his parents immigrated to the US before Steve’s father was born) so that sort of influenced our decision too. When it came time to choose where we wanted to say our vows, nothing else quite captured the essence of us as a couple and our relationship like the Cliffs did— beautiful, free spirited, and a wild sense of adventure!”
We are so glad Patricia & Stephen shared their wedding with us.
