Reality kicks in sometimes a little too late when you realise on your wedding day how cold it can be – even though we believe a Bride never truly feels to cold as she is too loved up, the last thing you want is a red nose or goose bumps!
Every Bride’s goal is to look carefree and glamorous on her wedding day and a Winter wedding day should be no exception.
From working in the wedding industry for over 10 years, sometimes it is obvious that brides are not sure what to have at hand to keep warm in-between dashing from the car to the church, during the receiving line or at your photo-shoot.
Continuing to look appropriate, so make sure you consider and cover all of your options.
But fear not as we have a few chic and stylish ideas on how to be cozy on your wedding day.
Gloves – always remove when eating or drinking.
Handmade knitwear – in these weddings, both were made by hand. Something to cherish forever.
Shrug – a subtle choice, easy to slip on and off in-between photograph and can be worn during the ceremony. A great way to keep warm without clashing with your dress.
A combination of gloves and shrug – now that is clever.
Bolero – if you are looking for a little more formal or polished look for your wedding.
Last but not least – always carry an umbrella 😉
