I am a Celtic Celebrant that can perform a ceremony as a Celtic priest, monk and druid, or as a layperson, and can dress accordingly. I do not belong to any religion, church, denomination, sect or cult, but I am passionate about the Celtic spiritual tradition. I am a married man with four children and live on Inis Mór, Aran Islands. My work is freelance, it is my full-time work and I have been doing it, in one form or another, all my adult life.
Wedding Blessing Ceremonies (including Vow renewals)
Other rites of passage
My wedding blessing ceremonies are spiritual and sometimes religious. The couple can choose where to place the emphasis. Here are three examples:
1- A ceremony based on the values of love, family, and friendship
2- A ceremony based on a love for nature and the universe
3- A ceremony that reflects Christian values and beliefs
The ceremonies include elements of the Celtic tradition such as handfasting. They also include Celtic blessings such as:
a blessing for the man and for the woman
a blessing of the four elements
a blessing for the health of the marriage relationship
a blessing of protection on the marriage.
The location can be anywhere in Ireland and can be indoors or outdoors.
There are no legal requirements. The two of you can be on your own, or you can bring with you as many guests as you like.
Dara, I don’t have the words to describe how good the ceremony was. We felt at ease from the moment we met you. The ceremony was personal, relaxed and our guests are still talking about it. Thank you again.
I have to say our wedding was magical. Going through it, there is so much I didn't absorb. It wasn't until I watched the video that I realized how beautiful the ceremony was. It was more than I could have ever expected. Thank you for being part of it.
