A Christmas Wedding At The Luxurious Adare Manor
We take a look back at one of our favourite festive weddings! Based in Dublin, an escape to the West of Ireland and to none other, than the magnificent Adare Manor was the destination of choice for the stunning couple Orlagh & Paul. Settling into their luxury venue a few days in advance allowed them to relax and unwind before the wedding preparations began.
The Manor is now closed for extensive renovations, we very much look forward to planning, sharing and celebrating weddings here in 2017!
The local church in the village is The Holy Trinity, which always offers up the most magical light. It seemed like the angels in heaven were sparkling gold dust on our beautiful bride as she graced this aisle with her presence.
The most special moment at any wedding, the first kiss under the archway.
Straight back to the Manor for a warm welcome of champaign and festive treats for everyone to savour.
Located on the grounds is the most beautiful Lebanese Cedar Tree which creates the perfect backdrop for any wedding photographs.
Upon entering the Minstrels Gallery you are automatically transported back to the 17th century.
“It runs for 132ft from east to west so that it is filled at alternate ends with morning then evening light. 17th century choir stalls at one end of the room tower magnificently over all that pass beneath them. The north wall is paneled with a wainscot carved with biblical episodes while opposite a series of enormous fireplaces dot the southern wall.”
We hope you enjoyed this glorious wedding story, an Irish wedding that will inspire your own destination wedding.
We can’t wait for what is in store for 2017.
